Rae Yi (she/her) is an art therapist based in Singapore, dedicated to creating compassionate, inclusive, and empowering spaces for people from all walks of life. Grounded in trauma-informed and identity-affirming practice, she supports individuals navigating complex emotional landscapes, including trauma recovery, mood and anxiety disorders, grief and loss, addiction, neurodivergence, and major life transitions.

Rae Yi has worked with a wide range of communities, including caregivers and parents of children with neurodiversity, healthcare staff experiencing stress and burnout, as well as children and adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, intellectual disabilities, and bipolar disorder. She also supports adults recovering from alcohol and substance addictions and facilitates art therapy that nurtures attunement in parent-child relationships and healing from relational trauma.

Her work is guided by a deep respect for the human capacity to heal through creativity and connection. Whether working with adults, children, adolescents, or families, Rae Yi approaches therapy as a collaborative process—one that honours each person’s story and fosters safety, curiosity, and self-understanding.

She also facilitates group art therapy and open art studio sessions, where shared creative experiences become pathways for expression, meaning-making, and collective healing. Her practice is deeply influenced by her belief in the power of art to bridge inner and outer worlds, helping individuals rediscover agency, hope, and resilience.

Beyond her clinical practice, Rae Yi contributes actively to community mental health and collective care initiatives, advocating for accessible, inclusive, and sustainable approaches to wellbeing. She brings a holistic sensibility to her work, integrating professional training with an ongoing curiosity about how creativity, mindfulness, and embodied awareness can support emotional regulation and growth.
