Rebecca likes to work in a holistic way with her clients, and she is aware that as humans, we are never limited to our genetics or our family history to improve our outcomes in life. She is an expert on family relationships and childhood development until adulthood, and enjoys helping clients identify their own patterns, mistakes, qualities and victories.

Rebecca has completed her studies in Psychoanalysis in Brazil and worked at the main social clinic from the Psychoanalytic State Union of São Paulo for over two years, having dealt with complex and difficult cases involving drug addiction, extreme poverty, abuse, trauma, divorce, eating disorders, anger issues and suicidal ideation. She has also held her private practice and conducted seminars and workshops in related areas of human relationships. She has lectured on Child Development Stages for young families, helped entrepreneur group of mothers to strengthen their potential on psychological support, and would conduct group studies as well.

She has studied Winicott, Melanie Klein & Lacan’s approach to psychoanalysis specially on dealing with child or families, and have also studied psychotherapy techniques, like Systemic and the Gottman Method for Couples. After moving to Singapore in 2016, she is very keen on working with Asian families as well as within the expat community. She is also an ambassador and columnist for the Brazilian “Pais & Filhos” magazine, with her authorial column “Bagpack Mum”, focused on short stories on how to raise kids in an international environment, its challenges and complexities.
